Hello, I'm Jens

and i'm� addicted tometeorites :-)

I'm 36 years old, I am married and have two daughters of 3 and 5 years.
I live in Neuleiningen, Palatinate, Germany. The past 15 years I have worked as a headgreenkeeper on a golf course.
My passion for meteorites began in 2010 with a small Sikhote alin shrapnell which I bought for my mineral collection. Shortly afterwards a NWAxxx as occupying a stone meteorite. Since that time I was �infected� by meteorites and my meteorite collection has grown up to over 350 pieces, and I have developed a fondness for NWA OC individuals.
Sometimes I cut the meteorites. I think it's always exciting to be able to take a look into the interior of these stones, and imagine where this stuff comes from and how it was created. I am particularly fascinated by unequilibrated chondrite or strongly shocked stones. A further interest are impactites and the� meteorite craters of scandinavia.
I am a member of the german metlist.
My decision to want to join the imca explained by the fact that imca members have helped me a few times. Whether it be botched deals, the acquisition of meteorites or material-specific problems.
Observance of the coe I consider for a reputable handling with meteorites and other collectors as a basis. I am happy to be part of the IMCA Community and support this meaningful work.
