About Me: | Hello everyone, Let me introduce myself. My name is Radek Šrejbr and I was born and raised in the kingstown of Litoměřice, in Czech republic, central Europe. I work as a director of high school. I hold a bachelor´s degree in industrial property and master´s degree in international and regional relations in industrial property from the Metropolitan University in Prague. From a past time until now I have been interested in fossils, rocks and universe. I have a collection of minerals and fossils, including for example mosasaurs tooth, ammonite, amethyst geode and septarian dragon stone. Together with my family, we regularly watch astronomical events announced by Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences (https://asu.cas.cz/ ) through our telescope. I deepened my interest in meteorites during the covid-19 pandemic and realized that I want to own at least a little bit of universe. I bought my very first Iron meteorite in the city of Kutná Hora, in small local mineral shop. I started to look for more specialized source of meteorites. There you can find my personal website called RuniverzuM (https://runiverzum.cz/ ), including my collection of meteorites. Every single meteorite has a special importance for me. My favorite meteorites comes from the planet Mars. I have always been fascinated by this planet. I regularly follow up available information from probes. I am also interested in meteorites coming from the Moon, asteroid Vesta and other *pontentionaly confirmed objects (*Mercury). I bought a book Meteorite mineralogy written by Alan E. Rubin and Chi Ma and I am going to enrich my knowledge of the chemical site of meteorites. My goals in terms of meteorites in near future would be to enrich my knowledge, expand community and connect it with my profession. I am going to share my passion for meteorites, universe and natural science not only with my students, but with the new generation itself. I plane to devote myself to writing articles and popularizing. I am proud to be a member of The International Meteorite Collectors Association and The Global Meteorite Association.
